2. Processing of Files & User Content

MagicFiles utilizes a client-first, edge computing architecture. When you upload a PDF, image, video clip, or audio file into any of our tools (such as the PDF Editor, Scanned PDF OCR, Exact KB Compressor, or Image Upscaler):

• The file is loaded directly into your local device's memory using HTML5 Canvas, WebAssembly, and JavaScript APIs.
• Processing occurs locally on your CPU/GPU hardware.
• Your files are never transmitted across the network or stored on any server disk unless explicitly required for an asynchronous heavy server worker, in which case files are temporarily held in RAM and deleted immediately upon task completion.

3. Cookies & Web Beacons

Like any other website, MagicFiles uses cookies to store information including visitors' preferences and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimize the user experience by customizing our web page content based on visitors' browser type and device configuration.

4. Google AdSense & Advertising Partners

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to our website or other websites:

• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visit to MagicFiles and/or other sites on the Internet.

5. Log Files & Web Analytics

MagicFiles follows a standard procedure of utilizing log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. The information collected by log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users' movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.
